Weekly Windup

I'm writing this weeks weekly windup in Keaton's room while rocking him to sleep. It's one of those days where he is just in a shitty mood. He poured his water bottle all over his bed so everything is wet, and he refuses to go to sleep. So here I am. On the bed with him on me, and I'm trying to blog. He does look pretty cute though - no matter how big he gets, I think I will always love these moments when its just him and me.

This week has been quite eventful. We had our bedroom cupboards removed and the wall of a new one built, I have now been without a cupboard for over a week. Now we just need to get the cupboard inner built, cant wait for that to happen. Trying to find clothes from a pile on the floor is not fun.

If you follow me on social media, you will have seen that we have also started out kitchen renovations. The kitchen contents has moved into the dining room, and its been barricaded up so Keaton cant get in there, which is he not happy about.

I can't wait for it to be done, so we can actually have people over to the house, we haven't really been letting anyone come around because it was just horrible to cook in, and it was so 1980's.

Other interesting things that happened this past week:

I completed my survey for the SampleCo Black Box - there were some YUMMY things in there, and I had fun sampling them, and a lot of them I will buy, so good job there SampleCo

Brad and I spent time at the dentist, which is never a fun time, we have to go back again, which is even worse. I honestly don't know why they need to be so expensive, I guess you only get one set of teeth though

I am finally at season 3 of Orange is the new black - I think Bradley thinks the whole thing is just lesbian porn. Everything he comes to see what I am watching he sees woman on woman! Lol!

There was also no Pretty Little Liars this week, which I am NOT happy about, its my Wednesday night fix, and it was most annoying that it was not on. I also only found out today that Hart of Dixie has been canned - sometimes I am so slow at finding things out.

I can't believe we are already in July. It's so cold here lately, like freezing, white grass in the mornings cold! It doesn't snow here in Auckland, and I am quite happy that it doesn't, because I hate layering clothes, and even worse trying to ensure that little people are warm too. It's our first winter in our new home and it's honestly fantastic, its super warm and toasty.

I had to share this picture of Ernie, he is honestly the most random dog I have ever met. But I love him!!!
