My friend recently got back from a holiday to see her family in Ireland, and bought me back these candles – I have an obsession with Yankee Candles, there is a candle shop in Newmarket and whenever I walk past, I have to pop in and smell all the candles. Being the cheapskate that I am, I just can’t warrant paying $50+ for one. Now that I have them, I don’t want to light them, what am I going to do when they are finished?
Our Elf on the Shelf arrived…. 11 months early, but it was on sale and I could not give up the opportunity!!!! So excited for Christmas – I think this calls for a Pinterest Board!!!!

Keaton has hit the 2 year sleep regression phase… YAWN!!!!!! Early morning and late nights are the new norm at our house. He just won’t go to sleep at bedtime, and once he wakes up, he won’t go back to sleep in his bed. – more on that in his 22 month update
I had planned on doing a dilemma post about what car seat to get for Keaton, as he has been escaping from his current one. However on Friday when we were driving around looking at houses (I know fun ey?), he kept climbing out of his seat. I ended up going to the mall and getting him a new one. This one is amazing although I know its controversial, bla bla bla, but I am not going to put my child in something that is not safe. I researched this quite a bit before buying it, and I wish that I had bought it in the first place.
It is the Mountain Buggy Haven – it’s great because it does not have straps, so he can’t climb out, and the best part is, he doesn’t want to climb out. We put him in, and he sits there and helps pout the cushion brace around his middle, and once strapped in with the seat belt, he is content. Another thing I like, is that it becomes a booster seat when he is ready to make the transition, so we won’t need to get another seat for him. And because you don’t need to fix it to the car with the seatbelt, you can move it around to different cars etc when you need to.

Had a rather quiet weekend, the usual suspects, swimming lessons, op shops, coffee dates, house hunting. That’s about it really. I think the main highlight was the carseat.
