Starting Solids has never been easier - with help from Dr Julie Bhosale

Starting Solids can be daunting for any mum, especially first time mums. We all want what is best for our little ones, and living in today's world, figuring out what that is can be challenging.
I don't know about you, but when I need to know something, the first place I look is google, and while for the most part that is great, there is so much conflicting information on there its scary - especially when it comes questions like " When is the right time to start my baby on solids?", and " What should I be feeding my baby?".
I recently attended Dr Julie Bhosale's Starting Solids Tour, and was amazed at how much I did not know (as a second time mum, that was a bit scary) about when the right time to start babies on solids is, and also what to you should and should not be giving them. Like I mentioned, there is so much conflicting information out there, it was good to listen to a professional speak, and as Dr Julie is a mum herself, she spoke in way that was easy to understand, and process ( let's face it - most of the us starting the solids journey with our babies are sleep deprived, so we need information that is super easy to understand and follow).

At her Starting Solids Workshops she talks about the benefits of waiting until 6 months to start babies on solids, and also why foods like baby rice cereal should be avoided until at least 10 months of age - and a whole lot more (but I am not going to tell you, you will have to get tickets and find out for yourself - you wont be disappointed though).

Recently launched is this AMAZING Starting Solids GuideI wish it was around when Keaton was starting solids, it would have helped me alot back then. Its packed with useful tips and guides on signs to look out for that your baby is ready, and also what foods to introduce when.
The meal guide plan is especially handy as it plans out your starting solids journey from 6 months to 12 months, and further breaks it down into months, days and times, so by following it, you can make sure that your little ones are getting the nutrients they need on a daily basis.
What is even more awesome about this guide, is that Dr Julie has created a week by week guide of what foods to include, and because its an ebook there are video's to follow along with, and recipe idea's too.

If you are serious about making your own baby food, and also about ensuring your little ones are getting enough iron and other nutrients in their diet, then this guide is an absolute must have.
